I ♥ Van Art Made in Vancouver Festival Feb 13 to 27, 2010

I Heart VAN ART is a creative and experienced group of visionary performing artists joined in spirit to make the Vancouver 2010 Olympic experience memorable for everyone. Dedicated to upholding the value of Arts and Culture in the City of Vancouver, their mandate is to support local artists to inspire creativity, spark collaborations and elevate Vancouver’s artistic and cultural presence in the world.

Why We Need Your Support
Many groups and organizations around the city have considered ways to feature Vancouver businesses and popular mainstream artistic talents to the huge world audience that will be arriving during the 2010 Games. However, shortfalls were felt by all performing artists, in part, due to massive cuts to nation-wide Arts funding and the complex task of coordinating event logistics with the City of Vancouver. For these reasons it has made any efforts in the area of Arts and Culture extremely difficult and many of these groups have long since given up.

I Heart VAN ART has refused to let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip by and has been working very hard so that visitors from across the globe will have a TRUE VANCOUVER EXPERIENCE.

In partnership with the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA), I Heart VAN ART is producing the MADE IN VANCOUVER FESTIVAL, taking place in Yaletown during the Games from February 13-27. This will be one of the biggest showcases of LOCAL Arts and Culture in front of the largest world audience in Vancouver’s history.

We are offering unique sponsorship opportunities during the Games. Working with grass roots local businesses as well as larger Corporate Sponsors to assist in bringing true Canadian talent to the streets for local and international guests. We look forward to your support and sharing in this historical event!
